Patent # 7,600,326 A simple device for measuring and marking shapes to be duplicated such as wall, floor, ceiling coverings. Can also be used to lay out foundations, mark off game courts, and in landscaping designs. The patent provides for both an electronic embodiement and a non-electronic one. The non-electronic version is cheap to make and also is 4 or 5 tools in one- a carpenters squar, linear measuring device, angle indicator, and level. The electronic version would be easier to use and could include functions to calculate area and other useful data.
Novelty and Benefits
No device this simple exists that can duplicate complex shapes. It has many uses.
